Kingfisher Lake mixed coarse lake with carp to 20lb, Tench to 10lb
Barble, Chub, Bream, Perch, Golden Rudd, Roach, Eels
Woodpecker Pool: Green Tench, Golden Tench, Barble, Skimmers,
Ghost carp, Commons, Mirrors, Goldfish, Golden Orfe.
Canal style lake opening in 2007 with mixed species.
Opening Hours:
7am to 7pm
Fishing Fees:
One rod: £5 per person per day
Two rods: £7.50 per person per day
1/2 day ticket after 5pm during summer months
Fishery Basic Rules:
(1) EVERY angler must have their OWN landing net (no sharing) as all fish must be netted
(2) EVERY angler must have a disgorger (not forceps) – As forceps are no good for taking a deep hook out of A small fish.
(3) No keep nets (except for matches) fishery keep nets only for all matches
(4) ALL landing nets MUST be dipped in the tank provided before and after fishing - This is very important
(5) Barbless hooks only (no micro or pinched barbed)
(6) The maximum hook limit is on the Kingfisher lake size 8 and on the Woodpecker Pool & Cuckoo Canal size 14.
(7) NEVER leave rods or poles unattended whilst in the water even if your rod is on a bait runner if you get off your peg bring your line out of the water.
(8) No braid even on a hook length.
(9) No nuts or imitation baits (plastic baits)
(10) No trout pellets ( carp pellets are fine )
(11) Please DO NOT swap lakes fish 1 or the other.
(12) NO LITTER THIS INCLUDES FAG ENDS AND FISHING LINE . PLEASE HANDLE ALL FISH WITH CARE AND NEVER HANDLE FISH WITH A DRY CLOTH.
WOODPECKER POOL & CUCKOO CANAL On these pools only 1 rod is allowed and no floating baits is permitted you can float baits in the kingfisher lake. HOOK CHECKS ARE DONE REGULARY AND NETTING OF FISH STRICTLY ENFORCED. YOU MUST PAY AT SHOP BEFORE FISHING
