Fishery Basic Rules:
EA Rod licence is required. Barbless hooks only. Keepnets in matches only. Anglers must be in possession of an assembled landing net. Carp landing mats to be used for any fish over 8lb. Groundbait in feeders only. Nets must be dipped in tanks provided by pond A Juniors under 14 yr must be accompanied by an adult.
General Information:
The 2 ponds at Southfield are spring fed which greatly enhances the quality of the water and the fish. Disabled anglers can park cars by some pegs and close to others. Pegs on the bottom pond have guard rails. There is a toilet available with disabled facilities. The fishery is open all year round unless the ponds have frozen. Match bookings can be arranged.
