Fish Stocks:
Llyn Gweryd’s 12½ acres (5 Ha) provides Carp to 27lbs,
Bream to 10½ lbs, Tench to 9½ lbs, Roach of 2lbs plus,
Perch, Rudd and quantities of Skimmer Bream.

Llyn Ewan’s 1¾ acres (0.75 Ha) is a well stocked silver fish lake.

Llyn Louis is a ¾ acre (0.4 Ha) lake containing Carp to 10lbs and Tench to 5lbs.

Fishery Basic Rules
All nets and carp sacks must be dipped thoroughly in the net dips provided.
All anglers fishing for carp must have a proper unhooking mat
and a minimum 36 inch diameter landing net.
Barbless hooks only-crushed barbs and whisker barbs are not permitted.
Safe rigs must be used (no fixed leads or feeders).
Micromesh, minimum 10 foot keep nets are permitted at an extra charge for
small fish retention at the proprietors' discretion.
No carp or any fish over 2lbs is to be placed in a keep net.
An angler may pay to fish up to a maximum of 3 rods.
A current Environment Agency rod licence is required.
NB Two licences are required when fishing 3 rods.
No rods are to be left unattended in the water.
All nuts and seeds are to be properly cooked.
No high oil or sinking trout pellets to be used for ground baiting.
Anglers are responsible for leaving their peg clean - NO LITTER is to be left.
Litter should either be taken away or disposed of in the burning cage
by Car Park 1 or in the bins in Car Parks 2 and 3 (Llyn Gweryd)
or in the bins by the Car Park on Llyn Ewan.
Cars must be parked in the car parks except for disabled badge holders.
A tow out charge of £20 is made for recovering vehicles,
which are not parked in a car park and become stuck
Please keep to paths and do not interfere with wildlife and their habitat.
NO RADIOS except with an earpiece. NO LOOSE DOGS NO FIRES
No fish are to be removed or introduced with out the proprietors' consent.
No children under 13 to fish without an adult.
No children under 16 are allowed on the south bank of Llyn Gweryd.
All those fishing 24 hours must have at least one adult (18 year old +) in the party

General Information:
Gweryd Lakes, located in Denbighshire North Wales, is easily accessible being
only 30 minutes from Chester, 45 minutes from Merseyside and 60 minutes from Greater Manchester.
You can choose from day tickets, 24 hour fishing or stay as long as you like.
A choice of reasonably priced accommodation
is available from all weather bivvy pegs
and camping pitches to self-catering mobile homes or B&B. There is a shop and cafe on site.

Whether you want a fishing holiday, a base for walking, riding or mountain biking or
simply to stay in a beautiful location we have something to suit.
We only have a small number of each type of accommodation, which ensures that you will be able to
enjoy a peaceful break in spacious surroundings, yet with many of the amenities of larger sites.
Whatever you choose, you can be sure of warm hospitality and an enjoyable holiday.
Guests can, of course, make use of the café and shop on site. There is also a local village shop,
post office and pub within one mile. Other facilities available include laundry and drying facilities
and obviously toilets and showers.

Directions:
The lakes are a few miles to the south of the A494 between Mold and Ruthin
and have good access from North Wales and North West England via the
A55 and M56.
