Fishing is on a limited basis and is only available by pre booking a ticket
£12 for 12 hours, Carpenwater can be booked for the day for just £12 per person (2-3 anglers only) with two rods each for up to twelve hours.
Fishery Basic Rules:
All anglers must hold a valid E.A. Rod licence. All anglers must have their OWN unhooking mat and a Suitable size landing net. Barbless hooks only. No nuts of any kind. All litter to be taken home. Rods not to be left unattended whilst fishing. No unauthorised persons to enter the fishery at any time. No under 16s will be allowed to fish without a fishing adult. No Night fishing.

Carpenwater is a private fishing lake of about 1 acre in size with an average depth of around 7ft located on a working farm near Clacton on Sea, Essex. Best catches this year are:
Mirror Carp: 18lb 2oz
Common Carp: 14lb
Ghost Carp: 18lb
Koi: 17lb
Catfish: 14lb
Ide: 2lb 6oz
Rudd: 2lb 8oz
Barbel: 4lb
