The lake is well stocked with carp, tench, bream, roach
and rudd from ounces to double figure pounds
Opening Hours:
9am till 9pm / Dusk
Fishing Fees:
Summer: Adults - £6. Share a Peg - £10 Junior - £4.
Winter: Adults - £4 Share a Peg - £6. Junior - £3.
Fishery Basic Rules:
Handle the fish with care:- No fish to be taken away
To avoid injury - Use unhooking mats provided and ensure they're wet.
never hold fish higher than knee height.
do not carry fish away from peg area.
do not handle fish in towels, cloths or gloves.
return fish gently to the water with your landing net.
No Litter - leave your peg area clean (inc. cigarette stubs)
No damage to trees, shrubs or water plants.
No dogs allowed other than guide dogs.
Radios are allowed at low noise level.
Angling Rules
Barb less Hooks only - up to size 12.
All nets must be disinfected in bins provided on site
(Keep nets only allowed in matches.)
Bait - you may only use the following :- Maggots, Castors,
Pinkies, Squats, Worms, (not blood or jokers).
Sweet corn, Luncheon meat - any flavours. Bread on hook only.
Premises pellets only - (for swim feed, expanders, paste).
Bucket size containers are not allowed by the water.
No other bait is to be used without permission.
Hooks and bait are checked regularly.
Break the rules and you break our trust.
General Information:
The office can supply you with bait, essential tackle and hire of, and
a menu of cooked meals and light refreshments from the kitchen. The car park and all facilities are disabled friendly and situated right beside the lake. Future
developments include a children's \ stock pool and a Winter \ Match lake.
