on the carrier stream of the River Itchen

Directions:
From London take the M3. At junction 9 take the A34 to Newbury and Basingstoke. After approximately 500 yards take the right fork onto the A33 to Basingstoke. After about 250 yards turn right onto the B3047 signed to Alresford.
In Itchen Abbas, and at the sharp left-hand bend, turn right onto the road signed to Avington House. After about 500 yards turn left. The entrance to Avington Trout Fishery will be found on the left after about half a mile and beyond Park Farm.
